Irish for “tender comfort,” Sólás Caomh was shaped by Jodi Euchner for a beloved baby. The engaging cable pattern provides its own tender comfort to crocheters as they shape the soft cotton-wool blanket into an heirloom.
- Finished Size: 27 1⁄2" wide and 32" long.
Yarn: Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (80% cotton, 20% merino wool; 215 yd [197 m]/31⁄2 oz [100 g]; ): #CW -840 lime light (A), 6 skeins; #CW -780 hearty merlot (B), 1 skein.
Yarn Weight: #3 – Light
Gauge: 9 sts and 5 rows = 2" of alternating dc, hdc rows.
Hook: Size G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
